Hilarious, I am in high school and just learned about this in health!.

There are two things between foods: Incomplete protein, and Complete protein!. Incomplete comes from vegetables/fruits and have only 8 or 9 of the essential amino acids the body needs!. Complete protein only comes from meat/poultry related products, and have all 24 essential amino acids!.

In order for a vegetarian to get complete protein in a diet, they have to make certain combinations!. Ex, some good things to eat include nuts, nut related products (hummus, peanut butter), whole grain food, beans(a real big part), brown rice, and other vegetables that are very green and leafy!. The darker the vegetable is, the more its loaded with vitamins and minerals!. Some good examples here are certain kinds of lettuce, asparagus, brocoli, etc!.

Fruits are also a huge part, they give the rest of the vitamins and minerals that vegetables don't!.

Hope I helped you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you want super easy, look in the frozen foods section of the supermarket for fake meat to replace the real meat!. (Eg!. Morningstar Farms, Boca, and Quorn brands) You really need to read the labels though, because they are not all high in protein!. Yes, they're highly processed and maybe not the healthiest possible thing you could eat, but you can't beat the convenience!.

Kabobs with extra-firm tofu and vegetables, soaked in the marinade of your choice and broiled or grilled are nice!.

Green Giant also sells stirfry in a bag kits that they suggest adding meat to, but they work fine with tofu instead!.

If you still eat eggs, they're a good source of protein!. So are milk products, like cottage cheese or yogurt!. (But yogurt often has gelatin in it!.) Www@FoodAQ@Com

The most simple thing for you to do is just take away the meat from what you plan to eat!. To make the transition easier, try some meat substitutes, like Boca patties!. They look like meat, but they're made from beans and soy and other plant materials!. also, look up recipies for tofu!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They are certain things that you must have for your health to stay good!. My friend stopped meat, dairy, eggs and flour end up almost bled to death!. The doctor say that all she had given up was the cause of it!. She look like a cadaver walking and lost a lot of her hair!. You need to know how to replace those vitamins and minerals that you don't eat anymore!. This is too serious for you to just stop eating anything!. First study what they are and then make a inform decision!.!.!. it is your life you are playing with!.

Both don't eat meat but vegans don't eat dairy or eggs in addition to meat!. You should base it on plenty of uncooked fruits and vegetables, whole grains, beans, and small amounts of organic dairy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There's lots of options for getting protein!. I'd suggest tofu!. You'd be surprised how many dishes you can make with it!. You can marinate it in everything from soy sauce to maple syrup!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
