Products that test on animals?!

Question: Products that test on animals!?
i have been going through my beauty products, and i found that most of my favorite products test on animals!. i really don't want to use them now, but some of them are some of my best products, and i don't have the money to go out and buy a whole new set of makeup and go searching for the ones that don't test on animals!. what is your advice!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Obviously, it's entirely up to you whether you use the product you already have or not!. If you're truly ethically against the idea of using products that were tested on animals, then you shouldn't use what you currently have!. Unfortunately, this does mean that you'll have to spend the money to buy all new stuff if you want to continue wearing beauty products!. I know that Whole Foods Markets, if you have one close by, do not allow any body care products that test on animals!. Everything at their stores should be safe!. The cosmetics can get pretty costly, but a lot of the facial care products and lotions are pretty reasonably priced for what you get, and they're bound to be more natural than a lot of what you've been using!. If you really want the cleanest products, ask the people at the store which products meet their "premium" body care standards!.

If you don't have a Whole Foods near you, then most of the larger health food stores will have brands like Alba, Avalon Organics, Aubrey Organics, Dr!. Hauschka (expensive), or Gabriel!. All of these companies (as well as MANY others) do not test on animals and have a wide variety of beauty products to choose from!.

Hope this is helpful!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use glo minerals and bare minerals makeup,
Aquage, Alfaparf, and Joico hair products!.
Of course they are not cheap but they do not test on animals!.

My advice to you is, if you are really turned off by the whole animal testing thing, simply quit using the products!. Go without until you can afford some better stuff!. plus, using too much hair and skin products can be bad for you in the long run!. Try going al naturale!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You have already bought the products so not using them would make no difference in the life of an animal!. Any product the is "new" is almost definitely tested on animals!. I think only replicas of products already tested would not be tested on animals now!. I don't know that for sure though!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

What he said, then make sure that you let companies test stuff on you!. Actually, I've gone as far as to quit wearing make up!. I still do a few times a year!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well dont just throw away all you makeup and whatever, atleast use up all of them, and if you have enough money when theyr all used up try to see if you can find some animal freindly productsWww@FoodAQ@Com
