Question: I recently turned vegetarian!. What physical changes should I expect!? also, what is some good meatless meat!?
So far, the meatless meat I've tried, is nasty!. What are some meals I could enjoy that I could find at Walmart!? also, do you lose weight by just taking meat out of your diet!? I'm doing this diet to be healthier and lose weight!. I've cut back on my sweets, taken meat out, and I'm trying to drink more water!. but, I can't take out everything and just stick to salads!. Doing it to lose weight!? Being vegetarian, you need to make sure you get the right amounts of iron and protein through your diet which can be difficult if you don't know which foods contain all the important stuff ie: legumes and mushroom (great protein sources)

Ok well there are lots of great veg items in the supermarkets such as 'fakin' bacon', vegetarian sausages!.!.!.!.vegetarian meat loaf, vegetarian schnitzel, burger patties!.!.!.!.!.the list goes on and on!. These are mostly soy or lentil products!. It depends where you live!. We have tons of it where I live!.

Edit: TOFU!!! Tofu has a reputation for being nasty tasting stuff but if you buy the marinated stuff or cook it with thr right stuff it's delicious and nutritious XD Oh and just so you know - the vegan diet is better for losing weight!.!.!.why not diet and exercise reguarly!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

The only meatless meat I ever eat is types of veggie burgers, and some imitation sausages that are pretty good!. I eat a lot of vegetables, tofu, rice, pasta, salads, sandwiches, junk food (guilty)!.

You don't lose weight just by going vegetarian, you still have to work at it!. Whether you're vegetarian or not you still have to watch your nutrition and be careful not to eat too much fat and sugar!. It's probably easier when you're vegetarian though!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The thing I noticed most was how much more energy I had after going vegie!. I didn't expect that, but I guess it makes sense when you figure how much energy it takes your body to process all that heavy animal matter!.

There are lots of different frozen veggie burgers out there!. That's a good place to start for a "meat-like" product!. If you eat fish, you wouldn't be a true vegetarian!. If you're worried about omega 3's, take flax seed oil capsules, or use flax seed sprinkled on your cereal, etc!.

There are some meats out there that actually taste like meat!. I believe some is called Gardein!. Might want to check that out!. When you take meat out of your diet, do expect some changes!. You really need to find an alternative way of getting protein into your body or you WILL get sick!. Eggs have alot of protein so that's one way to get some!. But I am wondering, if you wanted meatless meat that tastes like meat!.!. isn't that kind of pointless!? I mean!.!. are you really a veg that wants to eat stuff that tastes like animal flesh!? You can lose weight if you go on a vegan diet!.
Things I noticed when I did : my feet and ankles weren't swollen anymore, didn't have to pee several times in the night,(worth going vegan for) I can walk properly now and don't have the arthritis that was coming on before, lose of weight, and my workmates said I was looking prettier!.

Generally, there is more to psychological impact than any identical physical changes opined by researches and confessed by many true vegans PERSONALLY!. You should aspect "positive outcome" in few days time [Mind, Physical, Health and Emotion]
