What's the most accessible, cruelty-free cow milk?!

Question: What's the most accessible, cruelty-free cow milk!?
I have recently decided to go vegetarian!. I would be vegan but I love milk and am somewhat dependent on it!. Ultimately I may try soy milk but my question is, for now, what brands of cow milk are best to buy and easy to find in normal grocery stores!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is an organic and growth hormone free type at Walmart!. It's sold in a carton next to the soy milk!. It's red and has a cow I think on the front!. There are some more too!.!.!.that's the only one I remember specifically!. Anyway that's where to start looking!. You would definitely want one that is growth hormone free!.!.!.organic!.

Soy milk isn't all that scary anymore!. Promise!. They have updated since "those" dark times!. Sure it doesn't taste exactly like milk!.!.!.!.but it's pretty darn close!. You really should try some and if you don't care for it!.!.!.then you don't care for it!. But it's really come along way!. I was weary about it too in the beginning!.!.!.but I tried it and that's all she wrote!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depending on where you live, the best thing to do would be to join a raw milk buyers group that purchases milk directly from the farm!. The farmers involved in this will have no problem with you checking out their methods!. Raw milk can also be healthier due to the natural bacteria and enzymes present!. These cows are usually grass fed which also changes the contents of the milk (i!.e!. higher omega 3's)!.
Organic milk is NOT more humane that regular!. In fact, unless you live in Denmark, it is more inhumane!. Animals get sick!. It's a fact of life!. If you were sick you would go to the doctor, would you not!? And granted antibiotics would be your last choice perhaps but in life or death situations, you would probably pick the drugs!. Organic cows and calves (calves especially) must suffer through the illness and either die, be shipped, or if they're lucky, they get treated and sold to a conventional farm!.
And for the record; cows are NOT: "raped", "impregnated several times a year", milked constantly, forced to live with mastitis (unless organic), "pumped full of hormones", and blah blah the lies go on!. You just have to research, some things are exaggerated!.
You might want to try a source of milk other than soy (almond or other) due to the plant estrogen present!. There is also an enzyme blocker that inhibits protein absorption unless heated to denature it!. Unfermented soy in large amounts is not so good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try organic milk!.

A lot of people make assumptions about the dairy industry without ever having actually set food on a dairy farm!.

In my country though (I cant speak for any other country) cows are allowed to roam the fields during the day!. Cows are well looked after since a stressed cow gives less, lower quality milk!.

The other side that people forget to look at is!.!.!. what happens if we all stop drinking milk!? What happens to those cows!? The would be put down!. You cant release them into the wild, they are not native to this country!. Rather than trying to close down the industry and destroy animals and the livelihoods of the farmers, these people should be campaigning for better conditions for the animals!. Unfortunately though, they just don't seem to be able to think for themselves!.

Ranting!.!.!. sorry!. Almond milk is fine, rice milk is fine, though neither has the calcium that cows milk has!. This is important considering the number of people diagnosed with osteoporosis is escalating!.

Soy milk on the other hand is the toxic by-product from the tofu industry, is high in oestrogen and has been linked to breast cancer!.

Well, most other people already made my points!. A cow produces milk to the purpose of feeding her calf!. Unless you’re a baby cow, then it seems rather unnatural to drink a cow’s milk, doesn’t it!? I mean, human milk would be more natural for a human to drink, but we shun the idea of drinking another person’s milk, especially as an adult… in fact I think I’m going to stop that thought before I get myself ill!.

Basically, the idea of cruelty-free milk is a myth!. No matter how you view it, you’re taking food intended for another creature’s baby… not to mention that the mother cow has intentionally been setup by humans to be brutally raped by a bull and then forced to produce the milk while the calf it was intended for is off to the veal farm!. Keep that in mind the next time some one pours you a nice frost glass of ice cold milk and I guarantee your stomach will start to turn!.

Rice milk, soy milk and my personal favorite, almond milk are all great alternatives… without any of the guilt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i am not sure!.
do you ever wonder if there is any cruelty-free vegetables!.!.!.!.!.
reconsider;
it is no pleasure to be biased toward any living thing!.
it's all about being fair!.
consuming plants only or more is in no way beneficial to the environment!. all it does is create an imbalance!.
i am neither selfish of my choice of foods to base it on personal benefits!.
everything is to be done in moderation!.
we are to accommodate everything on earth to experience the best of it!.

we are not to judge the degree of importance but respect itWww@FoodAQ@Com

No cow's milk is totally cruelty free!. However, organic milk (look for the USDA Organic logo) is a little better than other milk, because the cows are required to have access to pasture for a certain number of hours a day and cannot be treated with growth hormones!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, giving up milk is really hard!. Most people are vegetarian for a while before going vegan, if they go vegan at all!. So try soy milk or rice milk later (its actually quite good), but for now try organic milk!. They don't inject their cows with hormones and stuff!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

We humans are the only species that drinks milk as adults and that uses the milk of another animal it is kinda gross and unnatural when you think about it!.
COWS MILK IS MEANT FOR BABY COWS NOT HUMANSWww@FoodAQ@Com

Drink soy, or rice milk!. It's healthier!. Besides, I'm lactose intolerant!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Your best bet is to find a local organic farm where you can see how well the animals are treated; but the only cruelty free milk would come from a hobby farm!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cruelty free milk is in all milks!. The dairy cow naturally produces milk, to not milk it would be to cause it pain due to it having too much milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The only way milk can be cruelty free is if you get a cow and milk it yourself!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

cruelty free milk does not exist!. in every glass, there is a piece of veal!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
