if there's no other choice for you, then it's ok!.
although your parents could make you a separate dish, getting out just your portion with veggies and add the meat then later for their portion!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't eat anything touched by/cooked in meat and I think the same goes for most other vegetarians as well!. However, my family-who is also not vegetarian- is very supportive and understanding of my decision and seeing as how you just began your vegetarian diet, I would say it's perfectly fine!. It sounds like a good start and just remember that even if you just eat less meat and don't become a full-blown vegetarian, any kind of progress can help!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Dear “Cheers2l!.!.!.”, It is true that Smart kids more likely to go vegetarian later in life http://www!.naturalnews!.com/021346!.html but living under the same roof, it’s unfair to your mom to cook additional menu for you, unless she’s willing!. I wouldn’t say that is correct attribute to vegetarianism, but definitely CORRECT TRANSITION into vegetarianism!. I’m a vegan, yet saying this!.
Usually most caring parents observe your CONSISTENCY and SMART reasoning for going into vegetarianism!. Many conventional vegetarian parents are failing to inculcate vegetarian philosophy into their kids!. Thus most of them turned to be omnivores, unfortunately!. But many smart kids nowadays able to win their parents’ heart by their SMART decision and reasoning to go vegetarianism!. I’m witnessing many families accommodating vegetarianism for their kids!. You would not surprise that many families are learning & adopting vegetarianism by the REASONING & CONSISTENCY of their children in their principles!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well I wouldn't as I don't like the taste but I guess it's personal choice!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I wouldn't do it!. You're still eating juices and fat from the animal, even if you're not eating visible chunks of meat!. You're still eating parts of the animal's flesh!.
To answer your question the most simply, just substitute something else that you wouldn't want to eat for the usual meat!. Let's go with rabbit poo!.
"Does only eating vegs (a dish cooked with rabbit poo as well)= not eating rabbit poo!?
Is it okay to eat only the vegetables, but not touch the rabbit poo (cooked in the same dish) and still consider yourself a non-poo-eater!?
A family member loves to cook soup using rabbit poo!. Of course, she adds in other ingredients as well!. If I don't touch the poo or drink the broth, but eat only the other ingredients, can I still say that I don't eat feces!?"
I fully realize that this example is gross and I'm not trying to compare meat with poo; I just am choosing an unappealing item to illustrate my point that you don't need to eat chunks of something to take it into your body!. You could substitute lumps of butter, lumps of coal, eggs, insects, chocolate kisses, peppers, onions, noodles!.!.!. it doesn't matter!. If a dish is cooked with an ingredient, that ingredient will permeate the whole dish!. The soup/sauce/whatever is not going to be suitable with anyone who has a dietary restriction that disallows any one of the ingredients!.
If you're working on the transition it might be your best bet for the time being, but it really isn't vegetarian!. It could be a good stepping stone for you, though, while you adjust!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
