What is the most veg*n friendly place in the world?!
Answers:
I visited Japan, and it's very easy to eat vegan there, anywhere!. As long as you know how to read ingredient and ask the proper questions such as, "Is there bonito stock in this soup!?" and "Is your soup stock made with fish or seaweed!?" as bonito although a fish, often refers to either fish or seaweed stock!.!.!. that sort of thing!.
I would also assume China, India, Israel, Taiwan, and all those other pro-vegetarian countries!.
In N!. America, from what I hear, Certain areas in California, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver BC!. I live in the Vancouver area, and in the early 90s it was very difficult to find anything!. Stores didn't even have any tofu or soy milk or anything!. Slowly the Chinese/Asian/Indian population forced more tofu and other Asian vegetarian foods into the stores!. Then in the last ten years there has been a huge vegetarian/health revolution or something going on!.!.!. even the major big box supermarkets have huge selections of organic foods and such -- it's really amazing!. I can pretty much shop at any grocery store now without having to be like it used to be, "damn!.!.!. everything in this huge store is either non-vegan or just really crappy food that I'd never want to eat!.
This vegetarian thing is expanding rapidly from Vancouver to neighbouring cities, but only with grocery shopping -- there are few vegetarian or vegan restaurants outside of the city!. I can only think of one, a Vietnamese vegetarian restaurant!. I don't live in the city, so I eat at either Chinese, Korea, Japanese, etc!. restaurants!. Western style restaurants just are of such a low quality that I cannot eat there, even if they have some vegan items on the menu!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

In the U!.S!., I've found the most vegan-friendly places to be Seattle, the SF Bay area, and the L!.A!. area!. NYC is supposed to be very vegan friendly too!.
Sorry, can't help you too much with the world, however, I would imagine the U!.K!. is quite vegan-friendly as the Vegetarian Society of the UK is the world's largest vegetarian society!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not anywhere around here, unfortunately!. The closest thing we have to vegan around here is a side of cole slaw with a slab of ribs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
