Right now I'm using the "Magic Bullet" and for larger prep I use a Cuisinart food processor!. They work fine for me but I've read so many great things about the Vita-Mix that I'm gonna get that one when my other machines give out!.
The magic bullet is great for small things like smoothies and homemade dip but it often gets jammed and you have to take it out and shake it which can be annoying!.
My Cuisinart is an 11-cup monster!. It's strange though!.!.!.almost everything I make is either too small an amount to use the thing or too large an amount and I have to process a little at a time!.
Save up for a little bit and go for the Vita-Mix!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Financial tip number One: Don't buy stuff that you can't afford!.
If you're new to the blender business, don't spend a lot on one!. Get a blender/food processor combo at Target or Costco!. See how much you use it!. Then think about saving up and shelling out for a fancy one!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you can swing it, I would go for the Vita Mix!. They aren't really so expensive when you consider how long they last!. I burned out four blenders in a few years (margaritas!.!.!.) before I bought one!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
