What are your views on plant cruelty?!
Answers:
If we keep cutting down the rain forests (plant cruelty) we will all die since they provide the oxygen we need to live!. I'm not sure the word cruelty really works, but when you mess with mother nature she has a way of bitting you in the !.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Well, since a veggie or vegan diet actually uses far less plants than an omnivorous one does (much more plant life is consumed by livestock grown for meat consumption than is consumed by vegetarians or vegans) than if you want to avoid further "cruelty" to plant life, a veggie diet is the way to go!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You've been grasping here for hours spamming in the V&V section to justify your meat-filled diet with a theory that is half-baked and no one is backing up because it just doesn't fly!.
YOUR WORDS (repeated in question after question):
====
"it is no pleasure to be biased toward any living thing!.
it's all about being fair!.
consuming plants only or more is in no way beneficial to the environment!. all it does is create an imbalance!.
i am neither selfish of my choice of foods to base it on personal benefits!.
everything is to be done in moderation!.
we are to accommodate everything on earth to experience the best of it!.
we are not to judge the degree of importance but respect it!."
====
If you really care about plants then you'd not support 70% of the ice-free land being dedicated to growing feed for the animals that are eaten!.
If you really were about balance then you'd not have the rainforest cut down to grow soy and provide pasture to meat animals instead of the rich and diverse plant *and* animal species that were there and the rich oxygen the forest provided for the world we live in and use!.
Seriously, even if half of the land was still spent on growing crops for human consumption -- and it takes at least 8lbs/k of feed to provide 1lb/k of beef which means for each pound of beef you eat you are 8 times more cruel to plants -- then the other half could be returned to wildlife in all its diversity (good for the hunters too)!.
If you are really interested -- and you must be fascinated to spend this much time here -- then read and research and find out why people are so behind a veg*n diet before you spend so much time resisting it!. Then you can make an actual "informed" decision instead of waiting for people who are unlikely to agree with you to validate your thoughts!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Plants such as vegetables and fruits and nuts etc are grown to be eaten!.As a plant has no brain or blood supply, it can not feel pain or fear!. Animals are made of flesh and blood, just like us, and have the same feelings of pain and fear,they are not for us to eat!. Flowers are the ones cruelly treated ! They are picked and have only a short while after that to live in water!.Worse still, they are left at scenes of death and at funerals, with no water at all!. Flowers should be left in gardens, they are there to look and smell nice!. Would anyone look out at a garden of vegetables and say how pretty they look and how nice they smell !? Of course not!. I rest my case, vegetables are food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I can't say there isn't such thing!. Because we see this every time silly people break branches of trees to get lilac flowers and ruin trees and break their branches to get even unripe apples, cherries or whatever!. This is clearly vandalism!. Another example may be with stepping over the grass, flowers in parks or gardens and not only!. Not to mention the cutting of fir-trees for Christmas, ruining forests, killing poor fir-trees just to let them die in a few days with their decorations on them and then to see them thrown away close to the gardbage cans!. If you have plants in your appartment, you should care for them, water them, not let them die in a dark corner in a room or let them freeze to death in winter on the balcony!.
But, if you pick up nicely fruits and veggies and don't ruin the trees or plants, then it is ok!. Grapes, for instance, have seeds which will produce other grapes in return!. If we didn't pick up the grapes and eat them, the fruit would just wither and die in time and then the seeds would go into the ground!. But if we eat the grapes we don't do any harm!. Maybe we could just not waste away the seeds and throw them away!? I don't know!.
As for hurting: once you pick up an apple, or anything else, and don't harm the tree or plant, it's still ok!. When you pick up an apple, the tree does not bleed and if we don't vandalise the tree and break its branches in a stupid way to ruin it, it's fine!.
Again, in regards to hurting: would you consider saving the bacteria or viruses in the human organism when you are sick, and no longer take medicine to get healthy and kill them!?!? And what about worms that get in cherries and apples!? Aren't they parasitic and doing something unethical!? They are doing more harm to plants than we are if we pick up fruits and veggies in a civilized way!. Not to forget that ripe fruits drop to the ground!. Why leave them there and not make use of them!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

scientific studies show that when harming plant, they release chemicals to stop feeling the pain, they found this out by attaching the plant to a data converter which showed when they harmed the plant, the line in the graph shot up Www@FoodAQ@Com
Plant cruelty is the stupidist term i've ever heard!.
plants such as fruit trees and vegetables are designed to be eaten!.
the fruit from a tree is only there so an animal can eat it and spread its seeds!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I view it as a way for meat eaters to feel better about themselves and defend their lifestyle by saying that anything we eat suffers!. You must be quite miserable if you believe that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The same as my views toward bacteria and algae cruelty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
