I'm afraid that all of these good folks are right about your protein intake!. Let's take a look!. You say you're going to have some nuts with dinner; for the sake of argument, let's say you're having almonds, which are a very healthful nut!.

1 serving of almonds - 1/4 cup - has about 7!.5 grams of protein!.
You can find this information here:

However, while people's needs obviously vary a lot from person to person, most adults need at least 40 grams of protein a day; usually more, and depending on size and activity level!. Here's one website I found that seems pretty legit that will give you an idea of how many grams of protein you need a day!. I weigh 105 pounds and get moderate exercise; this website told me I need about 37 grams of protein per day!.

However, if you were going to get your protein from almonds alone, you would need about 5 servings for just 37 grams of protein - and that would amount to 1000 calories and 90 grams of fat, which is way more fat than you want to eat in one day!

My point is, in essence, that to eat healthfully, you need protein from sources other than nuts and seeds!. Would you consider adding beans to your diet!? I know they're not quite raw, but they're an excellent source of protein, low in fat, and they really fill you up!. You can still get the benefits of a mostly raw diet if you incorporate beans and maybe even some grains like rice into your diet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Calorically, yes, that's a light but adequate day!.

Nutritionally, not good!. You haven't had any carbs except what's in the banana and the apple, and no protein at all!. Protein doesn't have to be animal!. Your body needs it, and if you don't give it any, it quite literally 'eats' your muscle mass to get what it needs to function!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You need some veggies in there and some nuts!. You can make a salad with lettuce, bell peppers tomatoes, celery, carrots, other veggies, and find a recipe for a raw dressing!. Throw a few nuts on for protein!.

I also am not sure if you're getting enough calories!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, but I would as everyone said before, add protein!. Try eating more almonds, any other nuts and seeds, and beans!.

If your goal is hunger and malnutrition, you are doing great!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You really need some protein in there - how about some nuts!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
