I'm considering becoming a vegetarian, and need help?!

Question: I'm considering becoming a vegetarian, and need help!?
I love my meat, especially chicken!. But I think it's cruel!. But i hate most vegetables, and most of my family's dinners have meat!. I don't eat KFC, and that already annoys my family to death, if you look at my last question!.
I also don't think I'd be able to be vegetarian for long, especially without my family's support and the above facts!.
Help!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try to prepare your own meals!. Read recipes for fun and offer to cook for the whole family!. Meat is easy to skip or replace!. Simple meals to prepare with no meat include fried rice, pasta dishes, bean burritos, salads and veggie sandwiches!. If you're not against eggs, you've also got MANY options using them!. If you request or create meals like these, it may be hard for your family to notice that there isn't meat in the dishes you've created!.
When you go out to eat, look at your vegetarian options!. If something tastes good, copy down the name and try to find a recipe online!.
If you can't cook your own food, ask for a substitute to the meat!. One portabello mushroom on hamburger night is a quick and easy replacement!. Eating at a friends house and forgot to tell the host you're a vegetarian!? Fill up on sides!. Don't expect them to automatically accommodate you!.
also, be sure you fill your nutritional requirements!. Take vitamin supplements that also give necessary minerals!. Eat fruit (which everyone loves anyway, right!?)
While introducing the concept to your family, don't make it a huge deal!. While it may give you a sense of moral superiority, no one wants to be proselytized over dinner!. Just let them know that you've decided to make a change for your own reasons!. If they pursue the conversation, politely make your case!. Don't expect to convert them!. All you need is to win their respect for your choice!.
Hope I've helped you make your first steps! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Problem with anything in life is excesses and too much of anything!. Too much of anything will eventually make you sick; including too much fruits and vegetables, not to mention health products and vitamin products!. Overdosing on vitamins is a huge problem these days among health nuts!. The thing is proper diet needs meat!. Just eat it once or twice per week!. Spread out fish, poultry, beef, etc to once per week consumption; it will make you healthier overall!. If you want the whole facts, you will never get it from PETA!!! Misguided to totally ignorant people get all of their facts and opinions from one totally biased source!. Remember that PETA was one of the companies that recently promoted a campaign using kids that eating 2 hots dogs per day caused cancer!. And Cancer society and medical associations came out and blasted them for it!. Listen to reputable sites run by doctors and dieticians, not by people who think eating any animal itself is not only cruel but unhealthy!. That view is not based in fact, science, or human health!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try Quorn chicken substitute, it smells and tastes delicious!. also Quorn mince, and sausages!. I've cooked meals for friends and only told them after they'd cleaned their plates and said what a lovely meal, that it wasn't real meat!.Do you like mushrooms !? They are a tasty, filling, meat substitute too!. Try roasting your vegetables, you might like them like that!.
It's going to be very difficult for you without your family's support so dont feel too bad if you can't manage to go veggie just yet!.
You'll do it one day ! Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's gonna be tricky babe!.!.!.
Borrow some vegetarian recipe books from the library (or go online) and look at the ingredients you need for yummy veggie meals!. save up some money and go shopping! Then cook up some yummy vegan/vegetarian meals for you and maybe even your family they might like them!. I found making the switch easy as i always associated meat with a dead animal and never really liked it and my family was fully supportive my dad is a vegan and he used to own a vegetarian restaurant!. But your family sounds like full blown carnivores!. Watch 'earthlings' or 'meet your meat!.' (latter on PETA website) and the switch will be a lot easier!.
And remember you are saving the lives of millions by not consuming meat, saving the environment and benifiting your health!.
