Well, besides the obvious (meat, dairy, eggs, anything thereof), here is a list of some things that as a vegan you can't eat, use, or wear!. If you're looking to be just a dietary vegan, then ignore the clothing ingredients!.

Some of the compounds listed below, while could be obtained from animal products, haven't been obtained from animals for many years because they are readily industrially synthesized and cheaper to get than to go through the process of obtaining them from animal products, so don't freak because a lot of these can be or are obtained from plants!.

veganism is more than a fad, it is LIFESTYLE, you have to watch where you walk and what you do, if possible avoid stepping on grass and be very careful not to step on ANY insects, they are living creatures too, you should also have some peta pamphlets handy incase you ever see anyone eating meat along your daily goings ons!.

I am 15, and have been vegan for almost a month now (october the 1st!!!) and it is not hard, only for the begining because i cut out everything cold tofurkey!. Just stick to your guns in this one even when the going gets tough!. People will question you, criticize you, make fun of you, etc!. But just come through it and you will be the one happy in the end, knowing you are making a difference in this world!.

You can't eat anything with eggs [whites nor yolks], meats of ANY kind, or milk!.

that means no baked goods unless they've been made vegan,
no cheeses, yogurts, anything like that!.

no ramen noodles unless they are TOP RAMEN oriental style!.

a whole lot of cereals are vegan,
and Very Vanilla flavored SILK brand soymilk is freaking amazing!.

Vegans do not eat any animal product what-so-ever!. This includes all meats, fish, eggs, milk, etc!.
