How to tell parents I've turned vegetarian?!

Question: How to tell parents I've turned vegetarian!?
I'm a teenager who is interested in vegetarianism!. I don't eat much meat anyways, so that won't be a problem!. I have researched it and I'm ready to make a commitment!. I'm scared to tell my parents though!. I tried it when I was 10 and couldn't do it, but I'm much more determined!. How do I get them to take me seriously!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just tell them!.
If they don't want you to do what I did:
"mom dad I'm going to be a vegetarian, deal with it!."
and i just started cooking my own meals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

are you prepared to buy your own food!? your family should not have to alter their lifestyle around you, you can make whatever choice you want, but you should bear the responsibility of paying for the items or what is the point of even going vegetarian!?

a lot of families simply don't have the money, vegetarian subsititutes are very expensive!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

"Mom, Dad, I'm vegetarian!. Please pass the potatoes!."
