lactose is a natural milk sugarWww@FoodAQ@Com

Margarine is usually milk free,,read the label!. be aware many margarines add milk for more flavor!.

Butter is sometimes well tolerated those with Lactose allergies!. I was told because the butter fat(which butter is made) is different than the whole of milk!. You are going to have to do trial & error on this!. Stay off all dairy for a few weeks then 1 at a time over a 3 day period add each of the products you want to use back in your diet!. Example 3 days using butter!. Stop then try it again!. Note your reactions: tummy ache, gas, other tummy distress, running nose, congestion etc!.
This is not nearly as hard as it sounds!. REALLY!Www@FoodAQ@Com
