How do I slowly change me ways to a vegan life style?!

Question: How do I slowly change me ways to a vegan life style!?
I'm a vegetarian but I want to become a vegan!.
I already don't eat meat, fish, or eggs!.
so all I have left to cut out is dairy, right!?
Do you just STOP or do it over time!?
What are some replacement foods and tips!?
Thank you for your help! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yep you just have to cut out dairy but also all foods made with eggs and milk!. Like milk chocolate or cakes (and some cake mixes)!.
Basicly almost everything it seems is made with milk and eggs until you find out what you can eat and then it's not that hard!.
Some breads are made w/ milk!. Just have to read the ingrediants on everything you buy but its worth it!
You can just stop eating all animal foods nothing will happen!.

What I like is vitasoy chocolate milk & the vanilla isn't so bad w/ cereal!.

Here is a link that has a vegan food pyramid!. Because the person said that you need all the food groups!.!. well there are more in the food group than meat and dairy!. :)

If you already like the taste of soy milk, then it should be easy to switch at home!. If you don't like the taste, just let yourself gradually adjust to it and you will begin to like it!. You also might want to try almond and rice milk to see if you like them better!. The easiest replacement for butter would be to use Smart Balance Light!. It's available at regular grocery stores!. It is vegan margarine without any hydrogenated oils!. It's also lower in fat and calories than real butter!. I wouldn't just stop cold turkey to become vegan because it can be a difficult transition!. You can just begin to look for vegan alternatives at the grocery store, like frozen waffles or crackers or whatever else you usually buy by looking at the ingredients!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

My advice would be to stop eating animal products today, and give it three weeks before you decide that you MUST go back to eating dairy and eggs!. If your commitment to animals is strong, is three weeks without cheese that much to give for the cause!? Three weeks isn't much when you think about it!. It is just 21 quick days!.

The point is, 21 days isn't much, but it is enough time for you to prove to yourself that life is easy to live without animal products - and trust me, it is!. Going "cold tofu" (har!) is actually easier than weaning yourself off of animal products by gradually reducing the amount you eat over time!. To take an example, let's say you REALLY love cheese!. In your mind, you imagine that life without your beloved cheese would be like life without sunny days, cute puppies, and chocolate!. If you decide to phase it out by eating only a little each day, you're acually giving the thing you're working to consume less and less of even MORE power!. If you plan on phasing out cheese over 3 or 4 months, you'll eventually look forward to even the tiniest bit of it, as if it were some reward!. On the other hand, if you go "cold tofu," you may tremble and suffer like an addict in withdrawal for a day or two, but after that, the suffering will decrease!. By day 20, cheese might even look nasty to you!. Or, perhaps, you'll be a lifelong non-cheesing cheesaholic!. (Yeah, that was cheesy =P )

Just try it for three weeks!. What do you have to lose execpt products that make animals suffer!?

Hope this helps, good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

do your best is all I can say!.
