Are Plums considered in the grape family?!

Question: Are Plums considered in the grape family!?
Answers:
no, a plum is stone fruit, like a peachWww@FoodAQ@Com

Plums grow on trees!. They have a 'stone' or nut within them similar to peaches, and nectarines!. Grapes grow on vines!. Both are delicious and can be dried to preserve them and when that happens their names change from plum to prune and grape to raisin!. They are both fruit, sweet and a good source of Vitamin C and that is where the similarity ends!. They are not from the same family!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
