Answers:
I don't know where it is physically located, but the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) is an excellent anti-vivisection organisation!. Many scientific groups argue against vivisection because it is misleading when we assume that the body of a non-human will react the same way that a human's will for a medication or surgery!. They have good arguments about how human health could be maximized through eduction and tweeking FDA approval processes than assuming that rats or apes have the same body type as humans!. The National Anti-Vivisection Society (link below) was founded in 1929, and does great work!. When people ask me to donate to medical research foundations (Race for the Cure and the like), I let them know that I will donate to NAVS instead, since I can't lend support to current medical research practices!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Buav is the best organisation because it focuses entirely on anti vivsection!.
it constantly has projects and offers a lot of resources too
many companies who do not test on animals are joined to it as well
Buav also sends out a little booklet which tells you all the companies than dont test on animals
they also offer vancancies and constantly need volunteers
try them out

I agree with I L K !.!.!. BUAV is by far the best and is the only respectable organisation focusing soley on vivisection!.
The BUAV are particularly good when you need to know what products or their ingredients have, or have not, been tested on animals!.
