Help! what do i feed a vegetarian kid for the next 48 hours?!
WE ARE CARNIVORES IN OUR HOUSE SO I'M TOLD!. WTF DO I FEED A KID BESIDES CHIPS AND KEEP THEM HAPPY!? any easy to make too please coz i'm 8 months pregnant and can't stand up for long!. oh or stand to handle food smells much!. she wont eat 2 minute noodles either!. help pleaseWww@FoodAQ@Com

There are a lot of things that you could feed a vegetarian child!. Kids are notoriously picky eaters, so you want to keep the foods simple looking!.
Some ideas:
"Cheese quesadilla"(assuming he/she eats cheeses), with veggies on the side!.
-Use a whole wheat wrap and cover half with cheese
-Put the wrap in a frying pan to melt the cheese!.
-When the cheese is melted, close the wrap
"PB&J"
-Not the healthiest of lunches/dinners, but fine if he/she is only staying two days!. They can have yogurt and veggies with the sandwich, and use whole grain bread!.
"Fruit Smoothie"(as a snack or add on to lunch)
-Blend a variety of fruits in the blender, add yogurt and ice
"Pizza"(if he/she eats cheese)
-You can make homemade pizza with bagels or whole grain english muffins!.
-Pop in the oven for a few minutes and serve with veggies!.
"Oatmeal with fruit"
-Cook oatmeal and add cinnamon sugar and raisins!.
-Serve with fruit
"Veggies with humus"
-Cut up veggies and use the humus as a dip
Snacks:
Popcorn
Pretzels
granola bars
rasins and peanuts
dry cereal
It may be easier to ask her what she does like to eat and start from there!.

Please feed the kid more than chips!.!.!.(yikes)!. Without knowing how old she is, here are some suggestions!.!.!.
For snacks: fresh fruit, fresh veggies with hummus or onion dip, chips and salsa, veggie egg rolls (easy stuff if purchased from the grocer's freezer!), pizza rolls, popsicles, etc!.

~Breakfast- cereal and milk, muffins, pop tarts, waffles, french toast, pancakes, bagels and cream cheese, etc!.
~Lunch - grilled cheese, veggie pizza, veggie quesadillas, a nice tossed salad, veggie burger, vegetable soup and some crusty bread!.
~Dinner - spaghetti with garlic toast/bread sticks, bean and rice burritos, black bean soft tacos, veggie stir fry, vegetable lasagna, refrigerated cheese tortellini/ravioli and marinara sauce!.
It's not really hard!. Cooking w/o meat is actually faster and less messy!. If push comes to shove, just ask her what she eats and go with that!.

So you carnivores would normally rip animals apart and eat them raw!?!?!? (That's what a carnivore is) Your family is just conditioned to believe that meat eaters, like you are carnivores!. A real carnivore would not touch cooked meat if it had the choice!.

Tell the child what you will make and if they don't like it, then make it themselves!. Children shouldn't rule a parents life, it should be the other way round!.
