Veggie take away tonight?!
Himself, myself and the small people always have a take away Chinese meal as a treat on Friday evenings!. I'm sick to the teeth of veggie chow mein and am looking for some new ideas!. We rarely have Indian food and haven't had one since I crossed over to the dark side (vegge-ism) a few months ago, so I was thinking about trying that tonight!. The problems are that 1) I have a morbid fear and dislike of Coriander, I'd rather chew my own arm off than eat it!. 2) I have no idea what to order for a veggie Indian meal!?
Any help would be much appreciated!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

theres so many things you can havee which taste amazing, and obvsiously if you dont want corriander in it, you can always tell them not to include it in theree
it depends if you're gonna have traditional indian food or more modern
if its tradional best option is to have a curry with rice and naan!.!.!. here are some curries:
Mixed Vegetable Curry (Peas, Potatoes, Carrots and Other similar vegetables in curry style)
Channa Masala Curry (Chick peas in curry style)
Paneer Masala Curry (Indian Cottage cheese Curry)
if its a more modern takeaway you can have
masala dhosa (Rice & lentill pancake with potato & onion curry)
idli sambhar (Steamed rice cake served with sambhar and chutney)
uttapa (rice pancakes with tomatoes and onions and spices inside)
chilli paneer (Indian Cottage cheese with chillies and green peppers)
Vegetable Biryani (Rice served with vegetable curry)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try a vegetable biryani or veg balti from the indian, they're bloody lovely! Indian takeaways do great vegetable side dishes too: onion bahjee, mushroom bahjee, bombay potatoes, poppadoms, naan breads, you will have loads more vegetarian options by choosing an Indian over a Chinese!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Or just veg versions of some curries are also good, u get potato and stuff in it too!.!.!.Chasni is my fav,but think that's a scottish one! Tikka and korma are also good!
