Question: I live in mid Southwest Florida (near Tampa): What kind of berry is this!? !?
the plant grows fairly tall, maybe 6-9 feet, it has small, light purple berries that are colorless inside!. they grown in clumps, but can be picked one at a time, they aren't like raspberries!. the individual berries are slightly smaller than the circumference of a pencil!. they com in season during Mid-September!. are they edible!? what are they!? Never trust anyone online to tell you if a berry is edible or not!. You could end up eating poison!. Take a sample, branch with berries and leaves, to your nearest Agricultural Extension office!.
