Are ramen noodles vegetarian friendly?!

Question: Are ramen noodles vegetarian friendly!?
Answers:
I am a former chef and buy the ramen noodles with out the flavour base, just the dried noodles, and I try to find a brand not fried nor ones made with palm oil, some even have lard, but most are made with a veg based oil!.

I use my own home made veggie broth, cubes or even the Pho stock cubes, they have no meat in them, seasonings, soya sauce and spices, this lessens the sodium content and with fresh veg like snow peas and bean sprouts it is healthier!. Look for the plain noodles in the area of the supermarket were they sell the Asian foods, either the egg noodle type or the rice noodle one, they have no animal product in them at all!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most brands are not, because the flavoring packet typically has chicken or beef in it!. But there are some kosher brands that are meat-free (fish- free too as far as I can tell)*!. I picked one up in the kosher section of my local grocery, and I wish I could remember the brand, but I've forgotten!. But if you have a Jewish-oriented grocery store near you, check there!. Many kosher foods are more vegetarian friendly than their non-kosher counterparts!.

*You do still have to watch out for fish when picking kosher foods, because I think under Jewish dietary law, fish is considered pareve, or neutral, so it can be eaten with either dairy or meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Far from it!. It uses chicken, beef, or seafood bouillon, which is made from animals!. Even if it says it's vegetarian, there's probably some animal by-products included!. Read the ingredients list!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Actually no they are not!. They are made with chicken and beef stock!.
Even the oriental ramen is!. The ONLY ramen with no animal product is Top Ramens Oriental!. Regular ramen oriental has beef!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Actually, even the Oriental Ramen has some fish in it, I do believe!.
Ramen Noodles are not Vegetarian/ Vegan friendly!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes they are =)Www@FoodAQ@Com
