I've included some of my favorite books below in sources!. It's the one listed with Moosewood Cookbook on the first line (in voting now)!. If you Google the author, you can find some of their recipes!.

My favorite way to find recipes is to go to the main library, where there are hundreds of great books!. Most regular cookbooks have vegetarian options, too!.

The two biggest websites I use are recipezar!.com, and food!.com!. Between these two sites, you can find a lot!. I'lll list a few others below!.

I make a decent stir fry from the prepackaged stir fry blends in the freezer section, like Create-A-Meal!. I add cashews and tofu for a quick tasty dinner, usually with jasmine rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I found it much easier to be a vegetarian once I learned to love tofu! you can basically do anything you do with meat with it!. I found the texture odd, but I got over it! To start off with try cutting it into bout 1cm thick slices soaking it in a bit of soy sauce for just 10mins, then a bit of olive oil in the pan, fry for a few mins, toss in some onions, then for the last few mins a couple of pinenuts and a few more dashes of soy sauce!. Its quick and easy, you can also grill it, just soak it a little longer so its not too dry!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm making vegetarian burritos tonight!. Get some fat free vegetarian refried beans from the store and add in 1/2 small diced onion (gently sauteed in a tiny bit of oil) and a couple spoonfuls of your fave salsa!.
Get some flour tortillas and 1) diced tomatoes 2) lettuce (optional) 3) chopped cilantro 4) rice (I'm using a little brown rice) 6) hot sauce or more salsa ----- and 7) avocado or sour cream, whichever you prefer!.


you can also make curry pretty easy and fast!.

1) get some Red curry paste near the Thai foods in your grocery!. Most grocery stores have it!. Ask if you can't find it!.
2) 1 can coconut milk!.
Some brown sugar, a little garlic, and soy sauce or salt

And 1 heaping spoonful of peanut butter!.

Heat 2 heaping spoonfuls of the curry paste, can of coconut milk, peanut butter, chopped garlic and dash soy sauce or 1/2 tsp!. salt over medium heat, stirring often!.
Add in 2 Tablespoons brown sugar once the mixture heats!.
Simmer over low heat for about 10 mins!.

Add in tofu, broccoli, chopped bell peppers, pea pods, anything you like!

Serve with RICE NOODLES or rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ingredients

3-4 cups freshly grated wholesome carrots
1/2-1 cup raisins
1 large apple, cored and chopped
1/4 to 1/3 cup mayonnaise
