Is there a specific amount of time u should take 2 eat a meal?!
I am wondering if there is a specific amount of time you need to take to eat a meal!. Is there!?!?!?
That is a question on a report i am doing - i cant find the answer any where!.

Here's your answer: The time needed is different based upon how long each eater needs in order to digest what is eaten!. The rule of thumb is, 20 minutes!. Those wanting to exercise after eating an ample meal should wait, however, at least 45 minutes or the digestive process will make them cramp, gasp, and feel like retching!. The age-old adage goes, "Chew each bite of food 30 times!." It's a good rule, as this allows the digestive juices to more quickly attack the food since it has been chewed into tiny bits!. To determine how long you can take to eat a meal, separate what's on the plate into bites!. Chew one bite 30 times, swallow, pat your lips with a napkin, and record how long in seconds that takes!. Then multiply it by the number of bites, then divide by 60 to get the number of minutes you would need to take to eat a meal!.

I think that you should take your time and make sure to chew ur food very well, i hear about 50 times is the ideal amount and don't swallow chunks of food!. Eating too fast can give you a stomach ache!. But also taking too long to eat could result in indegestion!. Good luck on ur report!Www@FoodAQ@Com
