Any ideas in what a vegetarian could have for lunch in a packed-lunch?!
I really want something healthy to take to college!. I don't want to be taking a big packed lunch with lots of different things, just 1 thing like a salad or something!. I usually just take a small salad with salad cream on it but it's so boring!. Does anyone know any ideas that I could have!? ThanksWww@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
1) Pack a little container of salad dressing and eat with raw veggies such as carrot and celery sticks, broccoli and cauliflower pieces, etc!.
2) Instead of a cookie or other sweet item, pack a mixture of dried fruit, nuts, and coconut!.
3) Add a few cubes of cheese or even string cheese for extra calcium!.
4) Pack apples and pears that have been cored and sectioned to make eating easier!.
5) Make extra salad at dinner and pack a small portion to eat with half a sandwich!.
6) Take a small container of 1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter to smear on an apple or pear!.
7) Take a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese and eat with veggies or whole-wheat crackers!.
8) Make a sandwich with whole wheat tortilla instead of bread!. Fill it with veggies!.
9) Hot soup in a thermos!.

How about, either in a spinach (or any kind) wrap or even on a plain roll: lettuce, chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, salt and pepper, red peppers, yellow squash, zuccini, olives!.!. i like it with vineagar on it, so maybe you can bring some on the side!? Even plain is pretty good actually!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
hummus and veggie wraps are great!. Or dress up that salad with some morningstar steak or chicken strips, nuts, craisins, croutons, chickpeas, olives!. I do love a peanut butter and jelly on heavy wheat bread!. Boca chicken and fake bacon with swiss!. Your possibilities are endless! Www@FoodAQ@Com
