Can silken tofu be used as an egg substitue?!

Question: Can silken tofu be used as an egg substitue!?
Are there any vegan egg substitutes!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes!. Use 1/4 cup silken tofu per egg!. But liquefy it in a blender first!.

You can also get Ener-G Egg Replacer powder and use 1/2 tbsp and 2 tbsp water per egg and mix well to a goopy consistency before adding to the batter!.

You can also use 1 tbsp flax seeds and 3 tbsp water per egg!. You also want to soak the flax seeds to form a "slurry!."

Some people use bananas or applesauce, but I think it leads to denser cakes, and the recipes that called for applesauce I don't particularly care for!. Bananas also impart a strong flavor to your baked goods!. If you're making a banana bread, that's fine, but it will probably ruin, say, a spice cake!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
