I was brought up on a farm!. I think it's probable that people who live a rural way of life will be more pertaining to eating meat!. If you think of fox hunting!. Most people still in favour are those that live in the country or rural areas!. There is a different culture and attitude towards the farming community!. Today I live in rural Spain!. It is very much the same here!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
That vegan vegetable comment doesn't make sense!.!.!.
I live in a big city and only know one other vegetarian other than myself!.
If you grow your own vegetables and raise your own meat, a transition to being a vegetarian should be a breeze!. Instead of eating the cow, just milk it!. Instead of killing the chicken, just get it's eggs!. It'd probably be a lot more cost efficient, since the animals would last a long time!.
On a side note, I think it's pretty cool you grow your own stuff, raise the animals and all!. I'm not against eating meat, I just can't get myself to eat muscle and fat!. I find it gross!. But if I had to eat it, I would defenitely prefer something raised in anything other than a slaughterhouse!. Kudos to you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

As someone else says, where population is denser there will be more of any minority including veg*ns!.
I'm vegan and I live in a rural agricultural area in the UK!. Not many other vegans here, it's true - but our local shop does regularly run out of soya milk!.
It sells vegetables though - what's a vegan vegetable!? And I have no need to travel to a vitamin shop as, like many if not most vegans, I don't take vitamin supplements!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
