How can a vegetarian replenish the what meat has to offer? ?!
my girlfriend became a vegetarian recently (like 2 weeks ago) and recently shes been feeling really sick!. What could she eat or do to prevent getting sick anymore!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

eat other things that contain protein (edamame (soy beans), drink soy milk with cereal, peanut butter, nuts, etc)!. and this is going to sound weird but prenatal vitamins contain more protein than normal vitamins, so those help out (and they don't make you like, lactate or anything weird like that :p) whenever i don't get enough protein i feel sick, weak, and kind of shaky!. usually taking vitamins on a daily basis help, along with eating other things that contain protein!. good luck and i hope she feels better :) Www@FoodAQ@Com
You should always be careful when switching to a different diet - talk to someone who has done something similar!. Pulses (beans, lentils) and nuts (such as walnuts, pecan) are high in protein( which is the main thing that Meat provides) and lots of vitamins and minerals!. Soy is another good source of protein and calcium!. If she is just vegetarian and not vegan, eggs are a good source of protein, but not too many as they are very high in cholesterol!. Cheese and other dairy products are a staple of vegetarian diets!. It may be that your girlfriend is lacking in iron, so she should eat plenty of dark green vegetables - spinach is particularly good!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Unless she's been eating REALLY poorly, your girlfriend probably isn't sick because of being vegetarian!. Two weeks is nothing!.

Protein comes from nuts, beans, tofu products, eggs if she eats them!.
Iron is in tofu, leafy green vegetables, and supplements!.
B 12 is in flax seeds (try flax bread!), or supplements!.

She's probably detoxing from all the years of polluting her body!. Give it time and she feel better than ever!.
I never felt sick after giving up meat because I gave up dairy first and slowly detoxed!.
She won't be unhealthy from it, she'll only get better!.
She should now get into fruit and veg as much as she can to help the cleansing process!.

takes lots of protein like soy milk,beancurd!.they're rich in protein and they're healthier than meat!.it's because our body that take meat for so many years suddenly only take vegetarian that's what makes she feel like this!.she'll be ok!.if you're really worried take her to the doctor so that doctor can provide her vitamins and irons!.
