Answers:
yes!. This is how I make mine:
Wash the tomatillos!.Peel off the husks!.
Put in a pot w/ just enough water to cover!.
Simmer until barely tender!.
Remove from the pot!.
Place in Cuisineart or blender!.
Add garlic, cilantro,& salt to taste, and 1 chili pepper if you want!.
Add enough of the cooking water so the mixture will puree!.
Serve hot or cold!.
will last refrigerated up to a week, but you'll eat it before then, because it is so good!.

Tomatillos are used for salsa but are also the base for a variety of mole sauces!. My wife makes a wonderful Mexican pollo al mole verde with tomatillos, chilis, cilantro, garlic, pepitas, and some other nuts, all whanged up in a food processor and cooked in chicken broth!. The end result is poured over cooked chicken and cooked together for a while to blend all the flavors!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
yeah check out some pre made tomatillo salsa and see if you like it!. its delicious :)
