Answers:
1/2 a banana to 1 egg!. - mashed -so a whole large banana for 2 eggs!.

and for the milk add soy or rice milk!. look for a small container in the store of soy milk!. Vitasoy (my favorite!) makes a small container of soy milk!. Vanilla or plain should be fine!. and if its chocolate i'm sure chocolate soy milk would work!.

also double check if you are using a box of cake mix that there are no animal products in it already like whey!. :)
Good luck and what a good friend you are!

+ i think 1 banana for 1 egg would be wayy to much banana i tried 1/2 for 1 egg and it was just right, left the cake a little moist though after baking it for 5+ minutes over the recommended cooking time!. It tasted good (it was also a moist cake so that could be why) very chocolatey and kinda like a brownie more than a cake but still delic!
or apple sauce but idk how much to use for one egg!. i kinda thought that apple sauce replaced oil but idkWww@FoodAQ@Com

Tofu or Bananas or Soy Lecithin will provide you with a heavy, dense cake which is probably not what you are looking for!. It took me several years to perfect the eggless cake and I now have several on my website!.
For absolutely no fail vegan cakes use EnerG Egg Replacer or OrgraN No Egg as a replacement for eggs!. They are two excellent vegan products that replace the binding quality of eggs in cakes!. EnerG Egg Replace is a product made of Arrowroot, Tapioca and Potato Starch!. The OrgraN No Egg product is made of Potato Starch, Tapioca Flour, Vegetable Gum: Methylcellulose, Calcium Carbonate, Citric Acid!.
You can definitely use Soy Milk, Rice Milk, Almond Milk or Hemp Milk in place of Dairy, and Earth Balance Margarine in place of Butter with no loss of texture or flavor!.

I'm an Ener-G Egg Replacer girl!. The instructions are on the box--1/2 tbsp replacer plus 2 tbsp water per egg!. Mix it to a goopy consistency before adding to the batter!.

You can also take 1 tbsp flax seeds and 3 tbsp water per egg, mix together to form a "slurry" and add to the batter!.

Or you can use 1/4 cup silken tofu per egg!.

I don't like using bananas or applesauce as they only serve as a binder and result in dull, heavy cakes!. The Ener-G Egg and flax seed slurry give it a bit of lift!.

For milk, just use an equal amount of soy milk!. Soy is not at all bad, in spite of what people say!. You can also use rice milk, but use a splash less!.

Ignore the carrot guy, he's a troll!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ground flax seed makes a great egg sub-just mix about a tblsp of ground flax seed with 1/4 cup of warm water for each egg you want to sub, stir it, and cover it for about 5 minutes to gel=it will be the exact consistency of eggs and works just as well in baking!. For the milk, you can use rice or almond milk (soy is bad stuff-avoid it) or just plain water or fruit juice!. Its great that you are doing this for your friend-she is lucky to have you! Good luck!. Soymilk (Almond and ricemilk too!) and bananas!.
I think 1 ripe mashed banana for every egg!.
Hope this helped!
also 1 cup applesauce for every egg!.
Could've been wrong about my proportions, but!.!.!. sorry about that!. Thanks below for the correction! Wouldn't want anyone to get stuck!

also if you go to Stop & Shop (the one around here at least) has a Vegan cake mix, and it only requires water, oil and margarine usually!. :DWww@FoodAQ@Com

I usually substitute 1/4 cup of firm tofu for each egg needed and soy milk or plain almond milk!. Tofu has a neutral taste especially used in baked goods!. I have tried using banana and unless you don't mind tasting the banana, which I do, I wouldn't recommend it!. Tofu has always worked fantastic for me hope it works for you too! Try it :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

soymilk for milk
and commercial egg replacer powder for eggs if you can find it- it'll say how much to use on the box, or just use bananas as a replacement for eggs

also, make sure the cake mix is vegan too (it probably isn't if it's Betty Crocker or something like that)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use Corn flour to replace eggs!. In Australia we also have a product called 'No Egg'!. You might have simular products!. See below website!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can substitute 2 wholesome mashed carrots for the eggs!. Use soy milk to replace the good milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

just lie to him, it's not like he will knowWww@FoodAQ@Com
