Answers:
Here are some of my classic cold sammiches! (yes I spelled it that way on purpose)
Start off with either a good wrap or 7 grain crunch bread (it is made by springmill baking company in MD you could probably use any locally made multi grain) add a thin layer of Veganaise, a scoop of vegan chicken salad (if you aren't in MD and cannot get vegan chicken hams (yes that is what they are called and yes they are vegan) you could make it with TVP Vnaise onions celery salt pepper paprika and some veg flavoring) tomatoes carrots spinach sprouts a few pickled jalapeno slices or better yet some banana peppers and top it all off with some Goddess dressing!.

You could also do a few slices of Tofurky a slice of smoked cheese tomatoes spinach on a good wheat bread
or
babaganouj with tomatoes spinach sprouts roasted red peppers and mushrooms topped off with some lemon tahini or Goddess dressing (which is similar) all on your favorite bread (if you can get a good pita then use that)

Now if you want a hot sandwich I could go on for days naming great sandwiches but here are a few classics
marinated tofu or Quorn chick'n (I would go with beer orange juice garlic chili powder a little salt and cilantro, don't worry the alcohol will burn off almost all of the way) grill that up with some peppers and onions maybe put in the marinade as well on a good baguette or tortilla
or
you could use some of that same stuff and put it in a tortilla with some cheese and grill it in a pan and make a quesadilla and bring along some salsa and guacamole to put on top

I might also suggest marinating a portabella mushroom in balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic and seasoning grilled up and served on a bun with some lightly wilted spinach (you can use the marinade from the shrooms) and if you wanted melt down some Swiss: Gruyère or Jarlsberg work well but a standard swiss works great too over top

or you could make some homemade veggie burgers and make some beer battered onion rings add some fancied ketchup and serve that on a bun maybe melt some cheddar cheese on top of the burger, you could also add other combos just like regular burgers just with veg/vegan toppings!

Hope this helps a bit and feel free to PM me if you want other recipe ideas, I could probably come up with a sandwich without actually cooking it or preparing it because essentially that is how I come up with most of my recipes!Www@FoodAQ@Com

A really good wrap:

Take a tortilla wrap and spread cream cheese on it (i like original but onion and chives or something similar is great too)!. Sprinkle some cranberries (or those Oceanspray Craisin things are great too!) on the cream cheese and line with lettuce!. Wrap!.
If you like onion, sliced onion can go under the lettuce and tastes rather good too!.

A great sub:

Slice your parmesean oregano (often called Italian herb and cheese) in half and line with lettuce!. Top with sliced cucumbers and your favourite type of sliced pickle (I really love garlic dill on this)!. Top with ranch dressing!.
If you are not a pickle person, dry the lettuce and cucumber!. Put sliced avacado in place of the pickles, and top with italian dressing instead of ranch!.
Your favourite kind of cheese can be added to both sandwiches, and possibly the wrap if you really like cheese!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My favorites are copied from local sub places!. One is tomatoes, green pepper, black olives, onion and mushrooms with mozzarella and swiss, dijon mustard or mayo, on a whole grain bun, heated until the cheese melts!. The other is avocado mashed up with cream cheese or blue cheese, thin sliced cucumber, tomatoes and sprouts on whole grain bread with dijon-the sandwich shop uses provolone but it's just as good without!. It's a cold sandwich!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
