produce from farmers who also raise animals for meat/egg/dairy!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

i see nothing wrong with it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

At a farmer's market, if I see someone selling meat, fish, etc I'll buy produce from a different vendor!. I'll buy from one selling eggs, cheese, or honey though!.

I don't like supporting businesses involved with the slaughter of animals!. Thus I moved to Portland, OR so I could shop exclusively at vegetarian grocery stores and eat at vegetarian/vegan restaurants (we have over 25!)

I'd only buy from you if there was no other place to buy organic produce in the area!. I wouldn't be happy about it, and would encourage and subsidize competition!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well it depends if I know the farmer I suppose!. I wouldn't buy meat, but I'd be alright with dairy if I knew where it came from!. My father works near a farm, non-commercial, and he often brings home eggs & veggies!. But they have the best eggs because its all free range and cruelty free, you can really tell the difference compared to store bought eggs!. But I don't eat eggs (make me sick) and they don't have many cows!. =[
Ok, basically, yes, I would buy from someone if I could see the conditions & treatment of the animals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Support theoretically, yes!. I think that if you are treating animals humanely and selling locally, it is ethical!. But in practice, I don't support them via buying from them, as I don't eat dairy or eggs for health reasons, as well!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
