I'd highly recommend The Student Vegetarian Cookbook (I don't know the author, it doesn't seem to say on the book but it's bright pink and bright green), even if you're not a student!. I bought it for uni and it's been invaluable, it has a huge variety of recipes, with everything from curry to nut roast to cakes to smoothies to veggie burgers!. It has a huge variety!. And, despite the occasional stupid thing (blueberry muffins for a student anyone!?) it does include mainly cheap recipes!. It's not that expensive and is stocked in lots of bookshops, including WH Smith!. The recipes vary from really simple to more complicated, but it really is a great book
Congratulations on deciding to become vegetarian, you really will be doing yourself and the planet a lot of favours!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It really depends on if your just cutting meat out of your diet or if you want to cut all animal products out (like butter, mayo, eggs etc!.) I just make a recipe that sounds good without the meat!. Just make sure you get your protein and your vitamins!. Eat lots of fruits, veggies and beans (like pinto or Kidney beans)!. If your feeling brave try Tofu, it really good!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
