Becoming a Vegetarian ?!
i want to become a vegetarian because every time i eat meat i become very sick just by the thought of it!.!.!.!.!.i want to know the healthy way to go about thisWww@FoodAQ@Com

i had the same decision about 1 1/2 years ago!.
this is what worked for me,
dont just completely cut yourself off from all meats if you're used to eating it, gradually break away from meat!.
say, one day you have 2 meals including meat, and one meal that is all greens and nutrients-NOT INVOlVING MEAT!.,
the day after that, have 1 or 2 meals with meat, then one without,
etc!.!.!.!.
within about a week, youll be eating NO MEAT, and not even feel the urge to sneak a piece of chicken from the family dinner (;
its a win-win situation, healthier for you, better for the animals :D

Eat good food, stay away from the junk, snack on veggies often to keep yourself away from the temptation of junk foods!.
To be a healthy vegetarian or vegan you must watch your B12 and iron intakes!. If you are female you should also watch your calcium!. Well, it won't hurt guys to watch their calcium either!.
To get B12, drink milk, or eat B12 fortified foods, or take B12 supplements!.
To get iron, eat beans and lentils often!.

Depends on whether you want to go totally vegan or not!. Plenty of vegetables, lentils, pasta, soy milk, butter without animal products!. You need to do some good reading on nutrition to make sure you are getting enough B12, iron, protein, calcuim, etc!. You can find a lot of really great recipes!. It will take a little time at first but I have a niece who is vegan and after a while is became second nature to her and she does a great job of eating healthy with a lot of variety in recipes and foods!. Start a week or so at a time, eat meat little by little and give yourself time to adjust to the change!.

Becoming a vegetarian is a really good decision! Make sure you buy some Multi Vitamins or something with iron!. You could either start by eating meat little by little or cutting it off totally all at once like i did which could be difficult!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Eat plenty of lentils!.!.!.spinach salads are good
There are so many meal items available veggie burgers, meatless beef, meatless chicken the list goes on!. Most grocery stores have a veggie/soy section!
