Answers:
The basic building blocks of a healthy vegetarian diet are grains; fruits and vegetables; high-protein foods like legumes, nuts/seeds, dairy, eggs, soy products; and vegetable oils!. More or less in that order!. For a picture form of that list, I've posted a link to the vegetarian food pyramid below!. It has a suggested number of servings for a 2,000-calorie diet!. The best way to make sure your diet is healthy is to eat from each group daily, eat a variety of foods, and try to focus on whole foods, limiting your sweets and processed foods!.

Protein is not as big a problem as most people think it is!. As long as you are eating enough total calories and you're eating a variety of foods from the pyramid, you should be fine!. Some high-protein foods include whole grains and whole grain products; nuts & seeds; dairy and eggs; soy products like tofu, tempeh and soymilk; and seitan!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

hummus, lowfat yogurt, skim milk, beans, lentils, peanut butter, nut butter, protein bars, nuts, string cheese, tofu, soy products

I am addicted to getting enough protein, it is filling (and usually delicious) and helps build muscle and keep lean muscle mass!. These items are staples in my dorm room, and these items combined with whole grains, fruits, and veggies will help you balance your diet without getting tired of the same boring food products!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There's tofu and soy products-those will give you complete proteins!. Combining some foods will also give you protein, like peanut butter on wheat bread and bean burritos!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Enjoy the wholesome goodness of carrots!. They are high in protein and provide your body with many other essential nutrients!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

veggie burgers!.
gardenburger, morningstar farms, boca, all make veggie burgers that contain a lot of protein!Www@FoodAQ@Com

try lentils, beans, tofu, eggs, and milk (if you eat eggs and milk)
