Unhealthy Ingredients in Soy Products?!
Hi all,
I've read that many soy products contain unhealthy ingredients!. Can anyone please name some of the unhealthy ingredients for me as i'm a vegan and drink soy milk and yogurts!?

OMG! There is so much misinformation out there!.
Soy beans are fine for human consumption!. No one eats only soybeans -- as in only tofu, only tempeh and drinks only soymilk!. Everything in moderation is the motto!. Eat widely on the vegetarian spectrum and there is no negative impact on the body, in fact quite the reverse!.
There are other sources of great protein and -- in fact other grain and nut milks -- rice milk, oat milk, hemp milk (very high in Omega 3,6,& 9!) as well as almond milk!. Tofu, for example, has been used for thousands of years without ill effect, as has tempeh, miso and soy sauce and both shoyu and tamari!. So relax and ask yourself who is funding the research -- more often than not there is an economic axe to grind -- like that nonsense about not using Canola Oil which turned out to be a PR hoax!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

soy beans are not harmful if they have no GMO's Genetic Modified Organisms!. I have used them for years!. some of the best options is silk milk and yoplait yogart!. you will have to read on the label for Non-GMO's but most tofu is made from the Non-GMO's so you will just have to look in your area!.

Anything and everything is unhealthy if you consume to much just to limit the soy products to a few servings a day and you will be fine!.
Soy is believed to have a negative effect on your thyroid gland which controls your bodies metabolism!.
Everything has a negative aspect to it just don't drink soy milk with every single meal for example!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Some of them have a lot of sugar or salt!. Other than that, they're fine in moderation!. People have been eating soy products for thousands of years without ill effects!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
