That's a personal choice, but keep your animal's health in mind if decide to change their diets!. If they need certain things, then I would make sure they got them!. Good for you about the vegetarian thing :)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
No, although dogs can get by without meat, what fun is just getting by!?
That would be no different than if you were suddenly forced to eat nothing but meat, you would probably live a while, but it wouldn't be very healthy or fun for you!.
Making a choice like that is really something you need to do BEFORE you make the commitment to care for an animal!. Your dog loves you and relies on you to make all his food choices, so make the right choice and allow him to eat meat!.
They make prepared dog food that is vegetarian, but it's not healthy for your dog, they make it because they know some people are that out of touch that they can make money on it!.

This is a personal choice!. Dogs are omnivores like humans and can survive on a vegetarian diet!. However, you need to do a lot of research and make sure that you are feeding them properly, and balancing their diet!.
If you choose a vegetarian dog food be sure it is from a reputable brand(one where the ingredients are high quality)!. Personally the only brands I would trust(since their meat based foods are top quality), are Natural Balance Vegetarian Formula and Avoderm Natural Vegetarian Adult Formula
If you are really serious about feeding your dog vegetarian, do as much research as possible!. You need to talk to a vet that is willing to help you!. You cannot simply switch them over to a vegetarian diet unless you know what you are doing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!.
If you have a dog it needs meat to be healthy!. Dogs are meant to eat meat, taking it away is cruel!. Their digestive systems are designed to digest meat!. Humans can make a choice as to what they eat, your dog's instinct is to eat meat!.
Maybe you could try giving the dog some vegetarian meals as a variety in its diet, but I really would advise feeding it meat as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Noway, animals eat other animals in the wild!.
It's natural, even if they eat your other pets!. Don't be alarmed!. My dog ate my puppy awhile ago, no joke, but that's life for ya!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, your animals need the meat, they aren't designed to be non-meat eaters!. Humans are capable of it, but your pets aren't!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Oh no, dogs are carnivores by nature, they will not thrive on a vegetarian diet, they will get weak and be susceptible to disease!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It's your choice!. Preferably let your pets be meat-eaters so that their iron stays up high and also a sudden change in diet for them can be very hard for them to adjust to!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I wouldn't do this to my dog!.
