y cant vegans have chocolate!? i thought Chocolate was made by the coco bean!? so no milk cheese and eggs in a bean!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegans can have chocolate, just not milk chocolate or white chocolate (milk, obviously, contains milk, and white usually contains milk powder)!. They can still eat raw cacao and dark chocolate!. If you're unsure, just check the label to make sure there's no milk ingredients or other animal biproducts!. But yes, lol, the beans contain no milk, cheese, or eggs :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
You are absolutely correct!. Vegans can and should enjoy good organic dark chocolate!. There's no eggs, no cheese, no dairy, and definitely no meat in dark chocolate!. Chocolate releases endorphins and is loaded with antioxidents!. There are several great Vegan Chocolates available!. Green and Black, Dagoba, Newman's Own, Callebaut!. You have to look at ingredients some chocolates contain milk or butter in some form or another!. There is vegan milk chocolate made out of rice milk and it is really really good and a lot of dark chocolate is vegan but again always read the ingredients!. Companies put all sorts of nasty things in products that don't need to be there so it is always best too look for natural and organic stuff (preferably locally made or sourced) that way there is less of a chance you are eating odd chemicals or milk that really doesn't need to be in it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
the question is a moral one, do you object to the method that is used in obtaining the product!. Dairy cows!? are they abused in your opinion!? etc!. I love chocolate and I lean toward vegetarianism but I still eat eggs!. I will eat meat once a month maybe!. I consume organic milk!. I have recently recovered a brand call Boca meatless burgers etc and Morning Star meatless foods both very good and this will help me with my resolve to not eat meat!. Burger King has a vegi burger that is really good!. I just checked the internet for VEGAN ORGANIC CHOCOLATE wow thank you every one I did not even think about that!. I am try8ng to get my child to be a vegan as well, what a battle!. she eats one thing at Grandma's house and different at my house, we battle all the time over this!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Well it depends on the chocolate!. There are vegan options but you need to read the ingredients and look at what fats, oils and additives were used to make it!. Personally I will just get pure cocoa powder to make my own candies and cakes that way I don't have to stress over it!. Good Luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
There are a few vegan dark chocolates (most of which are very dark 70% plus)!. Milk chocolate has milk, and most chocolate have butter fat or some amount of milk!. White "chocolate" is never vegan because it is made with cocoa butter and milk (with no cocoa)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That may be true but think about it!. In a world crazy about milk, of course they ADD milk in most mainstream chocolates!. Though there are many DELICIOUS chocolates that don't contain milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
