What are some really great tufo recipes?!


Question: What are some really great tufo recipes!?
I love tofu mixed with veggies and teryaki sauce, yum!. :)
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, any recipe(s) is great!.

I like making tofu scrambles instead of eggs!.

Use whatever veggies you like but I usually cube potatoes, chop bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms, and cube tofu!.

Cook potatoes first in olive or canola or vegetable oil, add cubed (extra firm) tofu and cook, then peppers onions and mushrooms!. Yum! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Deep Fried Tofu

Ingredients
125 ml water
120g self-Rising flour
10 pieces of hard tofu


Dipping sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 tablespoon red pepper strips

Action
a!. Wash and dry the tofu on a kitchen cloth!.
b!. Cut them into small squares!.
c!. Mix flour and water to paste, and rest for 10 minutes!.
d!. Dip the tofu into the flour paste, and fry them till slightly golden!.
e!. Drain them, and put them in a pretty plate!.
f!. Mix the dipping sauce in a small bowl, and place it next to
the tofu!.


Tofu Cake

Ingredients
3 pieces hard tofu
3 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons corn flour
2 teaspoons coriander (fine chopped)
1/3 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 egg

Dipping sauce
Any sauce or hot chili!.

Action
a!. Mix all the ingredients!.
b!. Spoon the mixture into hot oil, and fry until golden yellow!.
c!. Serve with dipping sauce!.

Tofu With Peanut Sauce

Ingredients
Hard tofu
Peanuts (grated)
Lemon juice
Brown sugar
Vegetable oil
Chili paste

Action
a!. cut the tofu into cubes!.
b!. Fry peanuts with oil, till fragrant!.
c!. Mix chili paste, lemon juice, and sugar into the peanuts!.
d!. Stir fry the tofu till soft, add the paste into the tofu,
and serve hot!.


Tofu and Cucumber Salad

Ingredients A
4 hard tofu (cut into small cubes)
4 eggs (beaten)
1 cucumber (sliced)
140g bean sprouts (Stir fried)
1 stalk celery (diced)
5 cloves of shallot (sliced, and deep fried on low heat)

Ingredients B
4 red chillies (fine chopped)
5 cloves of garlic (sliced, and deep fried on low heat)
5 cloves of shallot (sliced, and deep fried on low heat)
300g peanut butter
3 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
2 teaspoon soy sauce
170 ml boiling water

Action
a!. Mix the eggs with tofu cubes, fry until golden in wok,
and dish up!.
b!. Place cucumber slices and bean sprouts on top!.
c!. Cream ingredients B with boiling water,
and spread on bean sprouts!.
d!. Garnish with celery dices and shallot slices!.

I think it's really good to get tempura batter and dip chunks of tofu into it and them fry them up! It tastes really good with sweet and sour sauce or other things like that!.


It's also really good when you mix it in with Top Ramen, there is at least one flavor that I know of that doesn't use meat!. It's the Oriental, but only the actual Top Ramen brand, and double-check the ingredients to make sure!.
