Raw foodists : if I don't soak the walnuts am I missing out?!

Question: Raw foodists : if I don't soak the walnuts am I missing out!?
I have a recipe that calls for unsoaked walnuts (it's a dessert, and it will stick better dry and unsoaked) but I am used to soaking my nuts!.

Do walnuts contain enzyme inhibitors!? Should I ignore the recipe and soak them a bit!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Enzyme inhibitors are present in all nuts and seeds!.
If you want to neutralize them while staying true to the recipe, just soak the walnuts, then dehydrate them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have "forgotten" to pre-soak nuts, used them anyway & the recipe turned out fine!. I understand soaking does release their full nutrients compared to not soaked!. Kind of a early sprouting!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Interesting!. Never heard of soaking nuts! Always eaten raw!.
Peace!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
