You know, you do the best you can!. You read labels!. You stay informed and ask questions!.
Yes, it feels awful to find out that the color in your lipstick or your raspberry yogurt comes from the carapace of a beetle!. But you live and you learn and you do not buy that product again!.
I have been vegetarian for the better part of 40 years!. When I go to restaurants I ask questions and explain that I am a vegetarian and do not eat meat, fish, fowl, game or eggs, and I have to tell you that in only one instance in all these years have I been told that that restaurant cannot accommodate me!.
In fact once a chef told the wait staff to tell me that I should enjoy the salad bar and then sent a huge, beautifully carved fruit sculpture on a platter to me with a note saying that he, himself was a fruitarian and he couldn't bear the thought of some Yankee woman traveling in Florida having to eat cooked veggies!
Seriously, I have usually had chefs send lovely creative meals to me and their thanks for the opportunity to do something fun!.
So enjoy!. Be of good cheer and don't beat yourself up!. And keep on keeping on asking, learning, reading!. You are on a really good path to greater consciousness, health and vitality; and with more like you on the planet -- it will be a better place to live for everyone -- animals included!.

I mostly just buy fresh whole foods!.

It would be difficult to slip meat into a butternut squash!. To avoid eating meat products, I just don't eat processed food!.

As for hair products, all in some way have been tested on animals, If the final formula has not, great!. However at some point one or more of the componants probably has!. The best you can do is buy from a company which doesn't test the final formula and limit your use of cosmetic products!.

There is no way to avoid animal abuse, almost all major medical discoveries span from animal testing!.

It's nearly impossible to slip up sometimes!. Ask a server at a restaurant if something has eggs in it and they say no when there is and you eat it!. Really, it's a small thing compared to everything else that you are doing for yourself, animals and the environment!.

I get my shampoo, etc at Trader Joe's, it's cheap and it works well!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

yup,i eat some of the foods from non-vege shops and i feel kinda uncomfortable with it!.and the buns i eat have custard and mayo so i feel kinda bad!.but these buns is good i'll keep buying it!.as long as it have no meat in it!.

as far as animals products i use head & shoulder which is under P&G!.i'll change it to dove after using this finish!.but i'm not a vegan so i guess i won't feel that bad for using P&G products all these years!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you slip up then learn from it if it makes you feel bad, it dosen't mean you are losing!.
