Answers:
The brains are alive!.

The robot they're BlueToothing is not!.

Biology is life!. A prosthetic limb is not alive - the person operating it is!. Basically, when you start to think more like a machine than like a living being, that's when you've lost it!. Science-fiction writers usually call this "cyber-psychosis" or something to that effect!. When you're more machine than man, not in what your body is made of, but in how you think!. The two usually go hand-in-hand, though some people hold out longer!.

From the article, it certainly seems to me like those rat-neuron brains are still thinking like rats, so the brains are alive and well, but the robots are still just circuit boards with wheels!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think that eventually all of this experimenting is going to get us into a lot of trouble!. BUT, no, he is not a living thing!. Just because a computer it has brain cells does not making it a living, emotional being!. When it has the choice of free-will, let's get to talking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

he has an animal brain so i would said yes he's alive!.like a pet i guess!.but without the brain he's just a thing created by human!.but why is this in vv section!? Www@FoodAQ@Com
