Question: How can one prepare Flax seeds for consume(eating it!!!) !?
Answers:
You have to grind them up to a powder!. Whole flax seeds cannot be digested by the body!. The best thing to do is just to buy is already ground up!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Flax seed oil is the best for supplement!. Although, ground up flax seeds are great on cereal etc!. If you are taking it as a supplement then I would get the flax seed oil!. I take it every day!. Its in soft-gel form and easy to swallow!. You can get it at WalMart but any health food store should carry a better quality!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I bought a bag from GNC and a year later I still have more than half!.!. I just use either a small mill grinder or blender and grind up a bit, store it in a tiny jar (old spice jar etc) in the fridge and I sprinkle it on anything!.!. in soups, on meats, salads, sandwiches!. etc!.!. It doesnt taste like saw dust to me!. tastes sort of nutty!.!.
I cannot take the oil capsules cause they seem to give me diarrhea, so I can tolerate a tsp of ground flax!.!. I eat in on yogurt, in oatmeal!. bake with it, on pancakes!. in cakes!.!. just about anything!.!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I recently read an article that said purchase at food market, typically an organic one!. Then you grind them!. You can use a coffee grinder or do it by hand in a Ceramic bowl!.

You can google this, I think I also saw something on allrecipes!.com about it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Buy the ground ones and just throw like a tbs into whatever your eating!. At first they taste like saw dust but, you'll get used to it!. I just take more omega 3s now too much of a hassle for me! Good luck though!Www@FoodAQ@Com
