Question: Is it true that most tooth paste, soap, has Animal fat in them!?and don't has to be listed because it under 5%!?
Answers:
Most personal care products are made with rendered ingredients!. When animals are slaughtered, the meat that can be sold for human food is removed, the remainder of the meat is used for making stock or petfood and the leftover carcass is sent to a rendering plant where it's boiled down and separated into solids and liquids which are used for a variety of applications!. Tallow is animal fat, glycerin is a fat that can be from animal or plant sources and often the label will not specify, and there are dozens of other chemical-sounding ingredients that can be from animal sources!. They're listed on the ingredients, but many people don't know what they are!. Ingredients like urea and stearic acid (and it's many derivatives) are usually from animal sources!. Stearic acid can be made from plant sources, but rendering is big business and so many animals are slaughtered annually that there is a cheap, ready supply of goop from boiled animal carcasses to make all your favorite toiletries!. If you don't want that stuff, look for brands that are specifically labeled as made without animal ingredients!. There are lots of brands available: Tom's of Maine, J/A/S/O/N, Kiss My Face, Alba, Desert Essence Organics, Nature's Gate, Avalon Organics, Arbonne, Aveda, Dr!. Bronner's and many others!. Some are even available at regular grocery and drug stores these days, making them really easy to find!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tooth paste more often than not contains sea vegetables not tallow or lard!. Soap is another issue!. Castile soap is made from olive oil, and is reputedly to have originated in Castile Castle in Spain as early as 1567!.
There are other soaps made with other less expensive vegetable oils and frankly all you need to do is read labels!. The ingredient list must indicate what is used in its manufacture even at 5%!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Talllow/Mono-tallow is the ingredient you want to look out for!. It's made from animals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
