Me too! THat is not weird!. One of the reasons I gave up meat was because of the chronic constipation I had!.!.!.it did not matter haw many veggies or fiber I ate!.!.!.If I had meat, I was constipated!.

I think it is a good thing for the body to get rid of waste 2 or 3 times daily!.!.!.if it doesn't toxins can get reabsorbed into the blood stream from the colon!. also, if people don't have regular bowel movements, they are at greater risk for colon cancerWww@FoodAQ@Com

Its perfectly normal!. In fact going twice a day is good /normal and going days without is actually not healthy!. So your diet has had a positive affect on you!. The reason its happened it because your eating alot more things containing fibre!. also you have to remeber that most veg is 90% water so this is why your notcing a change but a good one so dont worry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

We all have different patterns when it comes to pooping, and yes being a veggie usually means more fibre etc!.

There is nothing wrong with pooping twice a day, only worry if you have blood in your poop or diarrhoea and constipation that isn't consistent!.
That could mean bowel problems, but veggies do tend to have a more regular bowel than those who eat dead things !.:)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Twice a day is much healthier than going days without having a bowel movement!. Before I was vegan, I went every 2 or 3 days usually, but now that I'm vegan I usually go once a day like I should!. That's probably because I used to mostly eat meat, which takes a long time to digest, and now I eat lots of food with a lot of fiber in it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well lets see this will be my first answer and you shouldnt be embarrassed, its actually a good thing cause your metabolism became faster meaning that the food your eating now is broking down a lot quicker then before!. im not a vegetarian but i dont like red meat and i guess meat gets brokin down slower mainly due to high protein levels that are used for energy and if you dont do any physical activities those carbs and calories wont be used but rather stored in your body resulting in weight gain!.!.!.so in your case you probably lost some weight in the process ;-] Www@FoodAQ@Com

You will go more often now, because you are now eating more foods with lots of fiber!.

Fiber=more pooping!.

Many experts say that the number of times you go a day should equal the number of meals you eat!. What you need to watch for is that your stool stays soft, that is well formed but doesn't hurt when it passes!. If it becomes too hard, just drink more fluids and add a little more oil to your diet!.

Good luck on you new diet style!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Actually vegetables have a lot of stuff that!.!. how should I say!.!.!. Clean your organs, unlike meat it goes down very fast!. Meat stays from 1 to 2 days in your stomach !. Hope it help, it's nothing to be embarrassed about!. That's natural!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Going twice a day is very healthy for you, but going only evey few days wasn't!. Your old diet was leading you down the road to colon cancer, I'm glad to hear you made the change!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's the increase in fibre in your diet, it makes your "regular"!. also, the extra roughage leaves more solid waste that your body has to get rid of!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

that's very healthy, you're supposed to go 2-3 times a day!.

it's the extra fibre, also your body cleansing itself of toxins from processed foods!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm not vegetarian, but about twice a day is normal for me!. You may have been constipated!. Are you getting more fiber!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Aha, it's probably because meat takes longer to digest:PWww@FoodAQ@Com

That never happened to me, but going twice a day sounds a lot more healthy!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

i don't like it but i think it's good for our health!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
