Vegetarian party sandwich ideas ? ?!

Question: Vegetarian party sandwich ideas !? !?
I'm a vegetarian and I'm looking for yummy sandwich fillers for my upcoming birthday party!. My friends are coming over and plain old cheese isn't going to impress anyone!! Can you think of something interesting I could use (instead of cheese) as a sandwich filler!? thanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Faux egg or tuna salad!. Just take some drained & pressed (for "tuna", frozen is good too, if you have time) extra-firm/firm tofu, crumble it up, and add all the stuff you'd use in "regular" egg/tuna salad!. For "tuna", add some kelp powder for that fishy kinda taste!. Since it's for a party, you could make it buffet style!. Just put out a whole bunch of different raw veggies, and faux fillings if you want & condiments (include some mashed roasted garlic), breads, & pitas or wraps & let people make their own!. Even some fresh herbs would be good!. I love fresh dill or basil on different sandwiches!. Raw beets and string beans are amazing in sandwiches, and not so common!. (I don't really like cooked beets, but they're sweet & tasty raw!.) Banana & mayo sandwiches are great!. Hummus is always good, or any other bean dip/filling!. You could roast some veggies for wraps if you go the buffet route too!. Oh, and this: http://www!.grouprecipes!.com/11939/chickp!.!.!. is sooo good!. :)

Happy birthday! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 container of alfalfa sprouts
2 avocados mashed
