Well, if it's the fat you're concerned about, the cheese and mayo are certainly worse than the sauce!. And maybe go for a six inch instead!. Otherwise, it's not too bad health-wise!. I mean, it's certainly healthier than a lot of other things you could get there!. :P As long as it's not something you're eating all the time, you're fine!.

They don't have spinach anymore at the one I go to, which sucks, so now I get triple tomatoes, double bell pepper, pickles, carrots, and sometimes cucumbers (their cucumbers don't always look good!.!.!.like they've been frozen) on 6 inch toasted Italian with sweet onion sauce!. I don't really like white bread, but Italian is their only vegan option!. I lust for the sweet onion sauce!. :) Usually the only time I get Subway is if I forget or don't bring a lunch to work, since they're right across the street from where I work!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've heard that Subway is one of the worst outlets for hygiene!. Have you heard of the 30 second rule!? It's when restaurants allow food to still be used as long as it hasn't spent more than half a minute on the dirty floor!.

Mayonaise is full of cholesterol, salt and saturated fat!. Cheese is the same, plus carcinogens and traces of blood and pus!. It's a lot worse for the animals, too, who are exploited until their premature and bloody deaths for something completely uneccesary and actually rather unhealthy!. The bread is probably made from very poor ingredients and flavour additives as well - I hear a lot of bread in sandwich shops etc, has a high amount of pretty much nutritionally useless ingredients, might as well be made of factory dust!.

I stopped eating at Subway when I found out about how cheap the ingredients are, and their poor hygiene!. I have never once considered returning now that I am vegan!.

My favourite sandwich, when I make them, is full of lettuce, tomato, raw red onion and a few olives!Www@FoodAQ@Com

For the healthiest, switch to a six inch sub (or eat only half of your footlong and save the rest for lunch the next day), skip the cheese, skip the mayo and sauce, and use mustard and vinegar!. Load up on teh veggies!.

It's not terrible for you as it is, so don't worry about it!.

I get a six inch veggie on whole wheat!. I usually get cheddar cheese!. I put on pretty much every veggie except jalapenos!. Sometimes I get lite mayo, but usually I just get grainy mustard!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you substitute mustard and/or oil and vinegar for the sauce and mayo, it will be a lot lower fat!. Skip the cheese and you've got a winner!. But if you have no cholesterol problems it doesn't matter!. Aside from the fat and calories in those ingredients, it sounds quite healthy!. Especially if you get it on the honey-oat bread, which is higher fiber than the others!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Since the others above have about almost answered your question!.
I'll tell you my sub!.
I have cheddar cheese with the bread that contains oats!.
I usually have the Sub-of-the-day, and I have "The works" which is pretty much every type of vegetable they have!.
Then I choose, 2 or 3 low fat sauces and salt and pepper!. (:Www@FoodAQ@Com

This sounds like a great and tasty sandwich to me!. Yeah its healthy but if you wanted to cut down on the fat, the mayo is to go!. And if you want beter bread go with the Honey oat or , my favorite, the cheese and herb bread!.

My sub is Cold cut trio (yes i know meat >!.<) with lettuce, pickles, spicy mustard, light american cheese, and sometimes onions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It sounds healthy to me!.

My sub is a foot long veggie delite on italian bread!. I get lettuce, cucumber, olives, banana peppers, spinach, salt and pepper, oil, and vinegar!. I also get the baked Lays original and love to put them on my sub!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't go to subway the stuff there isn't really fresh also I have a friend who worked there before and she doesn't eat their stuff!. If you want a healthy sandwich make it yourself!. it's not hard to make a sandwich after all!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yum! It is pretty healthy, except that Mayo is full of fat!. I'd go with the marinara souce instead!.

My fave is roast chicken, olives, pickles, red onion, lettuce and mainara sauce!. Im addicteed to it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

they call them subway "restaurants" is a long way to get that name! I would give them 1/2 a star outta 5! what restaurant!? Make it yourself!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah thats healty, wanna cut out some fat Get rid of the cheese and Mayo and you would be better
