Easiest:

Put two cups of flour and a few pinches of salt and pepper in a bowl!. Mix!.

Cut tofu into 1" cubes, and coat in flour mixture!.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat!. Once it's hot, add the cubes of tofu, and cook until browned, turning occasionally!.

You can add the tofu cubes to any stir-fry!. I really like it with Indian or Asian food!. Trader Joe's has really good stir-fry sauces that you can buy and cook up with vegetables!. Just add the tofu cubes to that, and serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Take it out of it's package, cut it into 1/2 inch thick slices and press the water out of it by placing something heave on it like a cutting board, etc!.
Now cut it into cubes!. Just add them to a veggie stir fry and they will pick up the flavors of the stuff your cooking them with!. I use peanut oil in my stir fries, it adds a nice flavor!.

You can freeze any raw tofu you have left over in a zip lock bag; but if you store it in the fridge it needs to be kept under water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Take the tofu and cook it in in a saute pan for a few minutes!. Then add a package of taco mix!. (use as much tofu as you would meat for tacos) I almost forgot to mention to chop the tofu in chunks any size and shape!. Then cook it until mix is evenly covering each piece of tofu!. Then make your own tofu tacos!. It is surprisingly good!. I recommend adding things like cooked/saute peppers and cheese!. I hope this recipe works out well for you!. Let me know how everything went and tasted!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Great for trying!

I personally am never able to really enjoy tofu!.!.!.!. but I do have these two great recipes with silken tofu:

Chocolate Tofu Pudding
-sounds gross and is kinda gross when making it but it's wonderful, like moouse when done!!! let it sit in the fridge for a while, like you would with regular pudding and it's best!. some liquid will seperate but just drain that out or mix it in!.!.!.

http://allrecipes!.com/Recipe/Tofu-Chocol!.!.!.

i can't find the other recipe but it used silken tofu blended with corn, which is then poured over partly cooked pasta and baked!.!.!. sort of like mac and cheese but no cheese-- add lots of spices otherwise it's bland!! that was half decent when i made it

this is a great resource
http://vegkitchen!.com/kid-friendly-recip!.!.!.

also try other recipe websites!.

tips:
haven't tried this yet (still a part time experimentalist newbie to tofu lol) but i have heard that freezing tofu and then thawing/using it gives it a 'meatier' texture!.!.!. also don't be afraid to use a lot of spices, i find that tofu doesn't pick up flavors QUITE as easily as it is said to do!.!.!. good luck, and don't be afraid to try again, my first few tofu cookings were horrible!. i'm still not a lover of it, but try it now in then in variations!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are tons of websites and books out there to give you great recipes!. Tofu is so versatile since it takes on the flavor of what you put it in or do to it!. It can be used in the same way meat is, baked, fried, sauteed, etc!. A great website for recipes is vegweb!.com
I love to put it in my smoothies (the silken kind) to add more filling in the place of yogurt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could make a really good impression of chewed gum!.!.!.tofu is so bad! Try it and you may agree!.
I don't mean to be negative but i've tried it and it is a ghastly creation of who knows what!.!.!.chewy like chewed gum!.!.!.enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i just cube it & stir fry it with fresh veggies, maybe add some organic veggie seasoning!.

good for you for trying something new!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
