Can someone help me with my cake troubles!?!?!?!


Question: Can someone help me with my cake troubles!!?!!?!!?
I am a veg@n and i have baked many cakes but I run into a common problem every time! It won't rise like a regular cake and it sticks to the pan not that bad but you can't get the entire thing out without breaking it!. I was thinking maybe it was the organic cake mixes fault cause that's all i've ever used!. Could that be it!? also I have the EnerG egg replacers and they don't help a bit and this last time I used firm tofu!. Are there any other things I can use besides those two!? And also could it be the organic cake mixWww@FoodAQ@Com

I had a problem with breaking cakes!. Oil the pan lightly before baking and then remove it from the pan a minute or two after taking it out of the oven!. I haven't had a chance to try this yet, but next time I bake a cake, I will!.

Do you mix your Ener-G Egg Replacer before you add it to your batter!? You have to!. You don't use firm tofu, but silken tofu, and you have to liquefy it in a blender first!. You can also grind 1 tbsp flax seeds and mix with 3 tbsp water and form a "slurry" to add to the mix!.

I don't use mixes, so that could be an issue!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am not a vegan, but I bake cakes!. You should use vegetable oil and flour on your cake pans!. Waxed paper or parchment paper will help on the bottom of the pan!. I don't know about the EnerG egg re-placers, eggs give you a binding agent and also help with rising!. I could not imagine what tofu could do for a cake! Good luck!. DWww@FoodAQ@Com

I answered a question about the vegan cake being to moist and dense!. Using oil for the pan to help keep from sticking would work!.
