Do you eat stuffing over the holidays?!

Question: Do you eat stuffing over the holidays!?
I'm not a vegetarian, I'm just curious, I mean I know the stuffing is in the bird, but it's not actually meatWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I'm a meat eater, but I know that vegetarians can eat the stuffing that comes our of the bird if it a 'once a year' thing, but that most vegetarians and vegans eat stuffing that is made from bread, spices, fruits like apples and raisins, and a vegetable broth that is baked in a pan that doesn't touch the 'meat' at all !.!.!. First off, I don't see how anyone would find that rude

I eat stuffing separately from the Turkey - it's perfectly fine that way!. Stuffing is made from various combinations of potato, vegetables, and cranberry sauce, depending on who you get it from!. I usually don't like anything sweet in mine, but to each his/her own!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oh, my gosh, my grandmother made the best stuffing!. But she included the giblets, so it would have meat in it!. And sage!. And cornbread bits!. I can almost smell it!. They were so poor that sometimes instead of a turkey, she would try to find an old setting hen to roast, which were sometimes as big as turkeys!. Then at the end of the meal, she'd sit with the carcass in front of her and take all the rest of the meat off the bones!. She also could cook squash so you'd swear you were eating pumpkin pie!. Excuse me, if I finish now, I'm too hungry to continue!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Stuffing is not always cooked in the bird!.!.!.never made it that way & never will!. It's delish on it's own accord, & baked in the oven!. I make it many times thruout the year!.

Not 'empty carbs' either---potatoes are a GREAT source of the Vit B familiy, very healthful & good carbs that give you stamina & endurance!.!.!.!.ask any professional!.

No I don't!. Unless cooked separately, stuffing is soaked in bird juices and as a vegetarian I don't eat that!. Some vegetarians make exceptions, but they are not true meat virgins and will roast on the spit in carnivore hell with the rest of you come judgment day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

We eat Stuffing all year round!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. not just for holidays!.

I make my own homemade stuffing!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

Bread Crumbs dried out!. (Added Last!)
Onion!.
Sage seasoning!.
Salt
Pepper
Water
liver, gizzards & heart of the animal!.

Boil it all together!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. ADD BREAD CRUMBS LAST!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.after rest of it is boiled!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. mix & put in turkey, chicken or goose, duck!.!.!.

ENJOY! Www@FoodAQ@Com

A vegetarian would not eat stuffing that had been cooked inside a turkey or that had meat bits or broth in it!. But stuffing can be made with vegetable broth and baked in a baking dish, in which case a vegetarian could eat it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Jaysus, I dunno how you Americans make stuffing but in Ireland it has nothing to do with the turkey, it's simply something you can eat with it not something you make from it so yeah I eat stuffingWww@FoodAQ@Com

I don't cause its empty carbs!. A vegitarian could, but a vegan could not, because an animal was used in its making!.

Satisfying a vegitarian!? Try sweet potatoes and have a veggie tray that was always enough for me,Www@FoodAQ@Com

I LOVE stuffing! But you can make it without involving meat or fish products by just using water, vegetable broth, or even some wine or cranberry juice!. Just don't use the boxed stuffing mix, please, because its WAY too salty!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nope! I can't eat it anymore!.
My mom uses the turkey basting juices to fix the stuffing!. She also adds bits of turkey to it!. :-(
And it used to be one of my fave sides!Www@FoodAQ@Com
