How should I soak my cashews for raw cashew cheese?!


Question: How should I soak my cashews for raw cashew cheese!?
What I need to know is, when I soak the cashews overnight, should I let them soak in the fridge or outside of the fridge!? Thank you!

also if you have any ideas for wonderful additional ingredients to make it special, I'm serving it to a table of omnivores tomorrow!. They've never had good vegan food and I want to impress them!.

With the soaking you can do either!. I usually chuck it in the fridge to get it off my bench space, and my cat likes to swat at things!. I've made the recipe with miso instead of sea salt to add a bit more flavour and also you can add some onion powder!. What you're saying is great though!.
