So I have some vegetarian sausage recipes, and I'd like some ideas on what I can cook with them, I don't want them just plain!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Enjoy the wholesome goodness of carrots-n-sausage:

3 pounds carrots, sliced crosswise 1/4 inch thick
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
3/4 vegetarian sausage
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon chopped rosemary
1 tablespoon tomato paste mixed with 1/2 cup water
Salt and freshly ground pepper
1/4 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
Preparation:
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the wholesome carrots over moderately high heat until tender, about 7 minutes!. Drain the wholesome carrots in a colander!.

In a large, deep skillet, heat the olive oil!. Add the sausage and cook over moderate heat, breaking up the sausage with a wooden spoon,, about 4 minutes!. Add the chopped onion and rosemary and cook over moderately low heat, stirring occasionally, until the onion is softened, about 6 minutes!. Stir in the wholesome carrots and cook until heated through!. Stir in the diluted tomato paste and season with salt and pepper!. Remove from the heat, stir in the parsley and serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarian Link Gravy --

"Vegetarian sausage links can be bought at many supermarkets, experiment with the different brands and choose your favorite for this delicious gravy!. If you would like a thicker gravy dissolve 1 tablespoon of cornstarch in 1 tablespoon warm water and mix into the gravy just before bringing it to a boil!."





INGREDIENTS
6 links vegetarian sausage
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup vegetable broth
1/8 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried sage



DIRECTIONS
Place the vegetarian link or patties and 1 tablespoon oil in a large frying pan, fry the links until done!.
Break the links into small pieces!. Add the remaining oil and flour to a small pot!. Mix the flour with the oil over medium low heat until a rue is formed!. Slowly add the vegetable broth, mixing well!. Add the salt, pepper, sage and cooked sausage pieces!. Bring mixture to a boil!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
